About TNT

TNT Lyme Disease Surveillance is a one-person organization. TNT is my initials, which stands for Tiffany Nguyet-Thanh Truong. I like being outdoors alot. So I have created this website is to increase awareness of the risk of Lyme Disease when one is involved in outdoors activities. You don't have to trek in the deep woods to contract Lyme Disease. In fact, infected ticks can be closer than you think. Gardening, golfing, owning a pet, camping, and domestic traveling are just a few of the ways you can come into contact with these ticks.
Another reason why I have created this website is for a class, Outbreak Investigation (Epi 414). I am currently working on a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology at UCLA. Below are links to my resume and "real" web page. I hope you found my Lyme Disease website helpful. Please do not hesitate to email me for you have any questions, comments, or suggestions. Thanks for visiting my website!
Also, my professor and his assistant, Dr. Strassburg and Mr. Chris Giangives, have put alot of effort into creating the LA Public Health website. If you have time, please visit their website. It contains alot of useful information.
